During the summer of 2025, I worked as an Instructional Design Intern in the Training Department at Union Home Mortgage. I created instructional slide decks, updated SharePoint graphics, and supported other miscellaneous design projects.
The role strengthened my ability to design within strict brand guidelines, work efficiently under tight deadlines, and adopt new tools such as SundaySky for AI-driven video creation and Monday.com for project management.
Alongside my individual work, I collaborated on a cross-functional intern project focused on using AI to reduce loan closing times. That award-winning presentation can be found at the bottom of the page!
Loan Rangers Group Project
As a part of UHM's L.E.A.D internship program, I worked with a team of interns to develop a strategic presentation exploring how AI could be implemented to shorten loan closing speeds. I was responsible for the visual identity of the deck, creating all of the slide graphics aside from the title slide and footer.
This project emphasized collaboration, clear storytelling, and brand alignment. This combination earned us 1st place out of 8 intern teams. It was an opportunity to push my creativity within real constraints while contributing to a polished, team-driven solution.
